Mountain Insurance
Since June 1, 2020, every visitor staying within the territory of the town of Vysoké Tatry and registered in the accommodation records, from whom the accommodation tax has been collected, is collectively insured for Mountain Rescue Service interventions.
Keep your proof of accommodation, and in case of an accident, contact UNION insurance company and report the claim under the collective contract No. 37 742 004. The insurance is valid from check-in until check-out.
Note: The territory of the town of Vysoké Tatry consists of Tatra settlements from Tatranská Kotlina to Popradské Pleso. You can view the area of this second-largest town on the attached map.
WARNING! Štrbské Pleso is not part of the town of Vysoké Tatry.
